My Dad Told Me This

Those of you who know me should know I'm not a very political person. Patriotic, absolutely. Political, not so much. I know it's important to vote blah blah blah, but the politics? Hate 'em. It's true, my first election I could vote in was to elect the Governator. Did I vote? Nope, totally forgot. Yup, I forgot to vote for Arnold.

But this, I thought was hilarious. Dad told it to me over the phone, so I told him to send it to me. This came from politicalderby but it's apparently getting passed around in numerous places.

“There’s no doubt history is in the making with the 2008 presidential race. We may have either the first Black president, the first Woman president, or the first Mormon president. Why not kill three birds with one stone - elect Gladys Knight president and call it a day.”

I'd vote for Gladys! Haha. This quote is still making me smile.
