When it rains...

Well, I do have some pretty good news. Wormtail is running 100% better. I deleted a whole bunch of files, cleaned out the spyware/adware/registry, and defragged. We're a much happier piece of machinery now. I think that Courtney downloaded too many little internet doohickeys and I got rid of all of those. Zwinky and a few other things might have been the culprits. Anyway, we're cleaned up and ready to go!
Got my
12days_of_clois fic posted on time this time, which I'm proud of. I do have to laugh. This round had new guidelines on it about word length and posting on time. Well, I have yet to finish my fic from last round and I technically posted it two hours late...lol, I just feel the changes are aimed at me. Not that I'm complaining, but feels like more of a *slap* you were a bad participant.
We had a...fun...day. So we were on our way to Fresno for the weekly grandparents trip. The trip is going fine, almost certainly going to end up being painless, and then we pull off of 41 at Bullard. *pop* It wasn't a loud pop, and I really thought it was the road. Then the road sounded really bad...really bad. We commented that it sounded bad, but we always use that off-ramp; it couldn't have gotten that much worse. Then we got onto the overpass, and yeah...the sound didn't go away, and so we pulled off right before Blackstone and left a trail where the rims were touching the asphault behind us. That tire blew a three-inch diameter hole. No joke. It was insanely huge. So Dad got the tire off, put the doughnut on, we called Grandpa and told him to meet us at Costco, and up the road two blocks we went to Costco. Three hour wait. Joy of joys; I love Costco on Saturdays. But, it was their tire so we got a good discount on it. So we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's, squeezed in their Buick, went to lunch at Carl's, then Dad and Grandpa went back for the car. The key wouldn't turn in the ignition. Now, mind you, we've had problems getting it out of the ignition, but not getting it in to turn. So Dad was stuck there trying to get the key to turn. Finally one of the mechanics came over and helped him, forced the key, and got the car started. So...back up to Fresno we go on Monday to have the ignition and transmission looked at...because our guys in town have done nothing but screw our car up.
So yay for a crappy Saturday! Woo!

It was more like: "Oh! I guess we need rules for that! That didn't happen in the first two challenges..."
Growing pains and all. I hope you don't feel slighted! I'm going to go over and read/review pretty soon, as soon as the
