EDIT: I have come to grips with the usual "ha, I tricked you; spring hadn't really started" snowfall...sort of. I knew it was coming last night. My hair was so staticy...complained to katshakespeare about it even.

In way of completely unrelated news but still WTZ moments, I give you the Deathly Hallows covers.

I'm...struggling with that cover. I can't help but laugh at the obsurdity of it.


But, stuff of note on the covers:
- I'm liking this arena thing Harry and Voldy are in. The splintered wood and ripped curtains are way cool. I'm curious who the people watching are.
- What's Harry reaching to? Voldy's got this kind of fading look about him, like he's being banished away. Harry's looking pretty strong, so I'd love to know what's actually happening.
- Slytherin locket is interesting looking. I figured it was a huge chunk of the story, but for it to make it onto the cover...might be bigger than I thought.
- The children's cover...what in the world are they falling into? I'm liking the different colored robes, that's cool, but I don't have a clue what they're falling into! The treasure makes since, probably had to look for something pretty spectacular to hide the horcruxes in, but the faces...wow. Is Ron *random House Elf* holding the Sword of Gryffindor? If so, why is jr holding it? And why are they getting sucked into this thing? According to the synopsis, they leave from the Burrow...I still hold to the fact that they have to go back to Hogwarts as one point or another, but if they leave from the Burrow we jump right into this from the off. Bill and Fleur's wedding and then zoom!
- Prongs is on the cover...I like that.
- Snakey little things in a glass sphere...that's cool, too. No clue what it is. Horcrux?

It's not Ron holding the sword it's the creature on Harry's back, to that I say who is that? These are also up at Leaky Cauldron.
