But I at least took pity on her to help her understand.



Dear Journal,

Still adjusting, that's why I haven't been writing. I seem to be spending more time on my homework than the other students. I suppose the fact that my homework is usually about twice as long might have something to do with it too.

Back at my public school last year you got in serious trouble if you ever broke the rules. But around here, you can get away with jokes and pranks without getting caught. It's actually worth considering, but I still think I'll make sure no one's watching.

well, I'm a real person, but no, I'm playing Lily Evans, Harry's future mom.

I belong to an role playing game, and I play Lily, and I'm using Lindsay Lohan to represent her.


so are you like a real actress?


uh...no.

This is just a game. Like a video game except typed. So I write my thoughts in my journal and interact with the other players. But I'm no actress.


then what were you talkin bout bein harry's mom?


I'm taking it you haven't read the Harry Potter book then?

Lily Evans is Harry's mom. But this game takes place in 1971, so Harry's not born, this is Hogwarts when his parents were in Hogwarts. So Lily and James Potter and Sirius Black and Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew etc are at Hogwarts.

Does that make sense?

It's hard to understand, especially if you've never seen a game played like this before. I didn't understand at first either.

Just know that these journal sites aren't always real journals, that sometimes they're deliberately fake. In this case, I'm pretending to be someone in the Harry Potter world.
