Doing a little better than I was. Rachel's still a little eh. She continues going into work at 2am and really, she should stop. I was sitting out on the couch watching TV with her yesterday when she started to get the shakes again and she couldn't stand up so I had to go get her medicine for her. Her doctor did take her off her new heart meds, so I just hope these get better soon. Kendra and I agree that she shouldn't be going to work right now. Yesterday she collapsed and had to just let the shakes pass before she could move. Not good...
In an effort to cheer myself up yesterday I made a roast. Can I just say that that might be my best roast EVER?! The potatoes were sadly too mushy, but reheating them in the microwave will be perfect. But oh, the meat, gravy, and the veggies I put in with the meat...I win for that roast, for serious. Kendra praised me for like a whole hour. She also informed me she liked it when I got depressed and wanted to cheer up because it always involved me cooking. I hadn't ever thought about it before but after I did...she's right! Lasagnas, roasts, cookies, angel food cake, all the stuff that requires serious time and patience always come out when I need a pick me up. So, yeah, leftover roast and potatoes and gravy at my place!
So my next short story for class is a vampire story. This probably came about from all the Twilight discussion as of late, Kendra reading it, and my discovery that Stephenie Meyer graduated from BYU in English. By golly, there is hope for my publishing career. Anyway, go vampires! The Good Samaritan told by vampires...haha! (Don't worry, my sick and demented writing group readers, I'll bring it...yes, Simon, Melissa, Aaron, and Crystal, that was directed to you all! =D)
Lastly...I have Hebrew. Ha! What else is new?
