Deathly Hallows Part II
Jul. 28th, 2007 02:16 pmFirst of all, just some updates. Wormtail's in a rotten mood again. The printer and Acrobat decided to die at the same time. Meanwhile, the memory is having real issues. I know, I really shouldn't have started the Dark Knight teaser download and then just walked away for the majority of the duration. Probably wasn't smart. Also wasn't smart to try and outsmart my cell phone at the same time. I need to remind myself that Wormtail is not Wazlib and should not be treated like Wazlib. There is a big difference between 256 MB of RAM and 1.25 GB of RAM.
Dude, the Giants game last night? So freakin' rocked! Okay, first of all, Barry hit #754 to start out the game in good spirits. But man, the rest of the game? Pitchers' duel major with seven freakin' home runs. OMG, so fun. Love good baseball games where you can be just as animated as a football game. That crowd in SF last night was going totally and completely nuts.
Comic Con related items... Dark Knight teaser: great dialog, but I wanted to look at something more interesting than the Batman symbol. Is that too much to ask? Ah well. All that work and memory killing for not much. Star Trek: Leonard Nimoy and the young kid I've never heard of playing Spock? Don't know why they need two unless they're doing some flashbacks. Or a whole "I remember back in the good old days" type stuff. Still, I'm excited. I trust J.J. Abrams. Oh yeah, and the poster...can we say retro? The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor? What kind of a subtitle is that? And they want to tie it with the Beijing Olympics? I thought this was happening in the early 20th century?!? Indy: Karen Allen is back. YAY! Smallville: Pre-comic Con is interesting stuff but I know some of your folk are staying spoiler-free, so that's all I'll say. I'm more hopeful for this season than the last two, which are the two I really followed (more 6 than 5), and the closer it gets to canon the happier I'll be, and it's sounding good to me. Can't wait to see what is said at the panel tonight at Comic Con.
