Why does one never get too old for bubble-wrap as a toy?

Anyway.

So I've been cleaning, packing etc, all day. I'm about to head to Grandma's, but I was sitting here watching bubble-wrap pop thinking about the fact that Order of the Phoenix is less than two and a half weeks away, and Deathly Hallows is a little more than three and a half weeks away and, I couldn't believe it. It's coming up so fast!

And as Book 7 comes closer...I'm not really feeling the withdrawals. Not yet. And I don't know if I will once the series is done. I think I will glad that it's over and we know the full story. Most fantasy series I've read were done long before I picked them. The Belgariad, the Galloreum, LOTR, Dragonriders (referring to the original trilogy and its parallel books).

Anyway, that's that. Grandma's in half an hour, back here asap (meaning some point after Amy, hubby, and baby arrive), packing, cleaning, packing, cleaning, bed eventually. Wake up bright and early, shower, clean, pack, clean, pack, leave notes for the roommates including contact info, and off for the high desert.

Tomorrow's destination: Las Vegas, Nevada. Expected high: 105. Oh boy!

Wednesday's destination: Hanford, California. Expected high on the high desert: 108. Hanford's expected high: 93. Woo! lower than Provo.

I'll get on at my great aunt and uncle's place tomorrow night if I can.
