Memo to self: do not overload your web browser.
I had an update saying what I've been busy with the last few days, updates on the allergies, L&C nonsense...it was good, but I ain't rewriting it.
To make it simple: reformatting went very, very well but now I can't get any disk images to mount so downloading IMs is a problem, internet still now working so well, stress around here (school, emotional breakdowns, etc) has been a little higher than usual but we're surviving, took up beading again, and I realized really how much I missed editing...and it's a lot more than I thought.
Matt flies home from his mission the day I fly back to SLC (at Christmastime)! =( That makes me incredibly sad, you have no idea. Although there is a slim chance that I'd be getting on the plane he gets off of and in that case I'd see him at the airport. "Matt! Welcome back! I'll see you in six months, bye!" I was very sad when his dad told me that. I ALMOST flew home on the 6th, but no...I wanted to be in Provo to buy my books on Saturday. Stupid me and wanting to be prepared. Bah! Oh, I was also informed that Lance got to see him a while back! I guess he was on this thing for Dixie college with his program or something and they ended up in Ohio. Well, Lance realized he was only an hour from Matt so he got in his car and drove down to his apartment at like midnight. Matt answered the door and was so stunned to see him that he didn't even invite him in, just stood in the doorway for fifteen minutes. Although I must admit, if I was on my mission and one of my best friends randomly showed up at the door at midnight, I'd be just perplexed. Anyway...
Lastly, what I used to get back into editing with...my first large scale project since Guys and Dolls all those years ago (okay, so it was 3 1/2. That feels like an eternity). I made an L&C fanvid. Make fun all you want, I say you're all completely entitled to do so, but yeah, I made it, so if you can stand it, all 7 minutes of it, watch it. I'm especially proud of my fades when Lois figures out Clark is Superman. That's about 4 minutes in.
( look, I was nice enough to put it under an lj cut for you )
